today i was watching the news, minding my own business. And then the same newsman that tells me about the economic crisis and humanitarian emergencies, said that it was the 50th birthday of none other than Barbie. And with a straight face!!
So i'm thinking this is one of those occasions, kind of like JFK's murder, when you will always remember where you were and what you where doing, when you found out.
Ask me in 10, 20 or even 50 years from now and i'm sure i'll be able to tell you that i was crocheting a baby hat and eating cookies when i heard about Barbie's 50th!
